Department of Environmental and Interdisciplinary Sciences

The Department of Environmental and Interdisciplinary Sciences offers the following degrees, Master of Science (M.S.—both thesis and non-thesis) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Toxicology. The teaching facilities, research facilities, and faculty members for the Department are housed on the 1st and 3rd floors of the TSU Science Center with the Department Office located in Room 303. In addition to the graduate level programs, the department offers the general education course in Geology (GEOL 1303 Introduction To The Earth).

GEOL 1303  Introduction To The Earth  (3 Credits)

Introduction to the Earth (3) Introduction to the study of the earth: the evolution of its landscapes, its weather, its climate, and its place in the universe. Three hours of lecture and one hour of laboratory per week. Listed as GEOL 1403 in the Texas Common Course Numbering System.
